ENGLEZOS

Skopelos is a beautiful island set in the Sporades in the Aegean Sea. At 96 sq kms, Skopelos is larger than its closest neighbours of Skiathos and Alonissos but having nearly half the island covered by pine trees gives the impression of a smaller island.
Skopelos Town, with its cobbled streets and winding alleyways, is a delight to walk around and experience typical greek life without the over commercialism of many resorts.
Out of town there are opportunities for the walker to make their way around this verdant island and experience the unspoiled nature of Skopelos. For the less adventurous, the beaches are varied and plentiful, from Panormos to the north with its wide long beach of fine white pebbles to Velanio, hidden beyond Stafylos beach, with its grey sand.
Skopelos really does have it all.
